Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announces stimulus tranche 3 that focusses on agriculture & allied activities, as a large part of the India population is dependent on farming. Today the finance ministry announced 11 measures, 8 out of which were related to agricultural infrastructure & logistics. The ministry will give Rs 1 lakh cr to strengthen farm-gate infra which will be created immediately & set up a Rs 10,000 cr fund for the formalisation of micro food enterprises. Rs 20,000 cr will also be given tor fishermen through the PM Matsya Sampada Yojana.
