Among Nifty stocks, Bajaj Auto was the top gainer, up 6.76% followed by Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv, which rose 5.25% and 4.81% respectively. Kotak Mahindra Bank, IOC, Axis Bank, Cipla, Grasim, NTPC, Hero MotoCorp were the other prominent gainers in the Nifty rising between 2.51%-4.13%. Wipro was the top loser in Nifty, down 1.86% followed by Gail and ONGC, which fell 1.20% and 1.05% respectively.
