Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman briefed them media on the third tranche of the economic stimulus package worth ₹20 lakh crores. The Finance Minister talks about the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana which was announced during the budget but is now being announced for execution now immediately. Under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana, the following activities related to Marine, inland fishery and aquaculture will fall and money would be provided to people falling under practices of these activities. The government is expecting that it will give employment to about 55 lakhs of people and will also help in doubling India's export to reach 1 lakh crores. ₹20,000 crores for fishermen will be provided through Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana.
