Closing Bell: Nifty ends at 10,311.20; Bajaj Finance, Baja Auto were top gainer

Nifty Bank trades above 22000 first time since 18 March. Nifty PSU Bank extends rally to 3 days in a row. Nifty midcap rallies 6th day in arrow. Nifty small-cap rallies in 5th day in a row. Among Nifty stocks, Bajaj Auto was the top gainer, up 6.76% followed by Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv, which rose 5.25% and 4.81% respectively. Kotak Mahindra Bank, IOC, Axis Bank, Cipla, Grasim, NTPC, Hero MotoCorp were the other prominent gainers in the Nifty rising between 2.51%-4.13%. Wipro was the top loser in Nifty, down 1.86% followed by Gail and ONGC, which fell 1.20% and 1.05% respectively. HDFC, TCS, Reliance Industries, Hindalco, Britannia, HDFC Bank were the other losers in the Nifty. Watch!
