Remdesivir is a globally well-known drug which is made by Gilead for Ebola and that got an emergency approval from US FDA and Cipla did a tie-up with the Gilead for the launch of this drug. Cipla in an expected event went ahead and launched this drug under the brand name Cipremi. It is only expected to be used on severe COVID patients. They have launched this as injectable of about 100 mg.
