Opening Bell: Nifty near 10,100; Tata Motors, Bharti Infratel were top gainers

Nifty gains almost 1% at open to trade above 10100. Nifty Bank gains over 1% at open to trade above 20500. Tata Motors was the top gainer, up 3.91% followed by Tata Steel and Bharti Infratel, which gained 3.26% and 2.41% respectively. Hindalco, RIL, ONGC were the other prominent gainers in the Nifty. Mubadala to invest Rs 9,093.6 crore in Jio Platforms for 1.85% stake. This is Jio's sixth cheque in six weeks. Power Grid Corp was the top loser in Nifty, down 2.10% followed by Zee Entertainment, BPCL, Vedant and TCS, which fell 0.56% to 1.39%. Watch the video to know more!
