Wadia Group, promoters of Britannia are maybe looking at selling a 5% stake. The reports suggest that Britannia will raise as much as ₹4000 crores. This amount that is expected to be raised will be used in their businesses which is aviation (GoAir) as well as the textile business and retail company (Bombay Dyeing). As of now, Britannia's stock is up by 48% since the beginning of the lockdown and it has seen the highest growth in comparison to other FMCG companies.
