In the pre-open, the rates were indicating that India may be in the foreign gap upstart, although the gap upstart is perhaps no guarantee of what really lies ahead. Indian equity markets opened stronger and higher, Sensex was up 397.43 points to trade at 30,453.60 while the Nifty50 index was higher by 116 points at 8,939.25. The top gainers we saw: HDFC, Bharti Airtel, ONGC, leading among the others. Meanwhile, UPL was the top loser followed by Wipro and Cipla.
