Mahindra & Mahindra, Hindalco, Tata Motors, Bajaj Finance, Hero MotoCorp, Eicher Motors, Tata Steel, Vedanta, Bajaj Finserv were the other prominent gainers in the Nifty, rising between 1.38% to 2.87%.
